Suggested visits and events
Giotto by night
July 10th 2009
Guided evening visit (9.30 pm) to the famous Giotto frescoes in the Scrovegni Chapel in Padua. The visit will last half an hour, of which 15 minutes will be spent in an air-conditioned waiting room and 15 minutes visiting the frescoes. This visit has to be booked by May 31st due to the large number of people visiting the Chapel.
Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
Rate per person: 22.00 euro. It includes:
entrance, guide and taxes
Meeting Point at 21.00 hrs in front of the entrance to the Chapel

We were absolutely impressed by the unexpectedly large response we had for the ISCYCLIST and we deeply thank you for registering so much enthusiastically.
We regret to inform you that, due to the many registrations received so far, we are unfortunately not able to take any more registrations.
Post-congress trip to Venice
Saturday July 11th 2009
Trip to Venice and the islands
Departure by G.T. coach from Abano Terme at 8.30, guided visit of Murano and Burano and the historical centre of Venice until 17.00. Return to the hotel in Abano Terme in time for dinner.
Possibility of staying overnight in Venice (one night in a Venice hotel on a Bed & Breakfast basis) by paying an additional charge.

The excursion to Venice will be by coach and then by private boat from Tronchetto to the island of Murano to see an original glassblowing kiln still in use.
Murano will be followed by the island of Burano, where the famous brightly-coloured houses of fishermen and producers of lace and needle-point work are huddled around its unmistakeable crooked bell tower. After free time for lunch, the trip continues to Piazza San Marco, whose points of special interest include the famous Basilica, the Torre dei Mori and the Ponte dei Sospiri.
There will still be some free time left for shopping and then back to the Tronchetto in the late afternoon cruising down the Giudecca canal. Finally the visitors will return to Abano Terme by coach in time for dinner.
