As usual, we will have a vigorous clinically-oriented rapid-fire presentation of interesting and puzzling cases on our first evening (Monday 6th July), before the Welcome Reception. Mike Marmor will moderate, and the session begins promptly at 17.00.
**The presentations are to be BRIEF 2-3 minute reviews of a case, to allow 2-3 minutes of discussion... and to allow a large number of cases to be shown. They should have a maximum of 10 slides (less would be even better!), and hit just the "high points". They should cover ONE case - no "series" or "mini-papers" will be accepted. They should present a great example, a puzzling unknown, a finding in search of confirmation or explanation from others, etc. Be prepared to show that last "wild" case, but also to share ideas and expertise in open discussion.
**Send your case titles to Dr. Marmor (marmor@stanford.edu). An abstract is not necessary, but you should provide a descriptive title, or if "unknown" a word or two about the nature of the problem (e.g. retina vs optic nerve, etc.). This will help to group some cases as appropriate. If the session is oversubscribed, cases will be accepted in the order received.
**No laptops will be allowed for the session. You must bring cases on a memory stick or on a CD, and convey them to the Preview Room at least 1 hour before the Session in order to download.
